DEATHS

CRASH KILLS JASPER CO. WOMAN, AGE 24

BAY SPRINGS- A funeral service is scheduled Sunday for Joan Alexander Pittman, 25, who was killed in an automobile crash Friday morning.

Mrs. Pittman's 1980 Datson ran off Mississippi 528 about 11 a.m. the Mississippi Highway Patrol respected there was no indication what caused the accident that occurred about a mile east of town.

Mrs Pittman a graduate of Mississippi State University had been married for only 34 days.

Her funeral is set for 2:oo p.m. sunday at Bay Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Bay Springs Cemetery.

She is survived by her widower, Charles r. Pittman, Bay Springs; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will H. Alexander, two sisters, Mary Alexander Jackson and Susan Alexander Amory, two brothers, William and Joe Alexander, Bay Springs; and maternal grandmother, Lilla Griffin, Bay Springs and a paternal grandmother, Mrs. P. C. Alexander, Bay Springs.

The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Ron Kirkland and the Rev. D. D. Satterwhite. Harrison Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers are John Graham, Win Gimd?, Thomas Brame, Keith Nix, Keith Sims, Johnny Robertson.
