B H Qualls, Jr., 79, of Dover, AR, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at his home in Dover, AR. The son of Benjamin Harrison Qualls, Sr. and Nennie Adeline Payne, he was born January 30, 1935 in Hanna, OK. He married Loyal Dee Allen, on April 4, 1959 at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God Church. Ben was an Air Force Veteran where he worked on B-52 bombers. He established his own construction business “Dee’s” over 45 years ago. After his retirement he purchased and ran Big Bens Market Station at Pleasant Grove. Ben was a member of the Gideon’s International and Scottsville Assembly of God Church, where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 55 years, Loyal Dee Qualls of Dover; four daughters, Kay Powell (Jeff) of Dardanelle, Cindy Wells (Randy) of Dover, Deanna Lange (Greg) of Harrison, Regina Crocker (Joe) of Dover; one son, Benjamin L. Qualls (Christina) of Dover; nine grandchildren, David B. Austin (Kim), Richard Austin, Kerrie Chronister (Jessie), Amber Scott, Alex Laney, Dillon Massey, Maddock Crocker, Benjamin Rylan Qualls and Delaney Qualls; three great grandchildren, Harley Austin, Avery Austin and Sarah Beth Chronister.

Funeral Service was held at 2:00PM, Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Scottsville Assembly of God Church. Rev. Arnold Humphrey and Rev. Jimmy Turner officiated. Burial was in Pollard Cemetery in Dover, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service.
