Shelia Darlene Palmer, age 55, of Hamilton, Alabama,
passed away on August 10, 2014 at her residence. She
had adrenal cancer. She was born in Hamilton, AL, on
Wednesday, July 29,1959 To Dorris Cleveland and June
Tidwell Mann. Darlene was a faithfule member of the Hamilton Church of Christ where she loved teaching the children's classes, especially the Cradle Roll, a class composed of children from birth to 24 months old.
Viewing for the family was Thursday, August 14, 2014, at the Marion County Funeral Home.
The family received friends on Thursday August 14, 2014 at the Hamilton Church of Christ. The funeral service followed at 6 p.m. with Ted Burleson officiating. Burial was in Burleson Cemetery, Haleyville, AL.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 37 years, Audie Johnny Palmer; children, Nathan and his wife Casey Palmer, Jeremiah and his wife Samantha Palmer, Jered and his wife Savannah Palmer; grandchildren, Hannah, Jorgia, and Kaden Palmer, Morgan and Ethan Palmer, Electra and Makenlee Palmer, and Noah Long; parents, Dorris and June Mann; brother, Douglas and his wife Belinda
Mann; sister, Donna Comer; sister-in-law, Carrol Works; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her beloved spiritual family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, J.P. and Ida Tidwell, Talton and Floy Mann; and her mother-in-law, Faye Palmer.
