The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road, with the Rev. Timothy Clontz officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Felder, a native of Detroit, was a traffic router with Thermal Ceramics an was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. He had been a Marine Corps reservist. He was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County and had attended the University of Georgia, Clemson University, Augusta College and Augusta Technical School.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Sloan Felder; three sons, Richard Felder, Augusta, Wayne Felder, Rock Hill, S.C., and James Wren, Brunswick, Ga.; one daughter, Yvonne Clement, Augusta; and 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
