Connie Maxine Wallace, 81, of Paris was dead on arrival Monday, Dec. 24, 2001, at Henry County Medical Center.

His funeral is planned at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

William Edwin Bucy will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Named as pallbearers are Glen Chaney, Grant Owens, Marty Harper, Tommy Vance, Charlie Robertson and Rusty Turner.

Honorary pallbearers will be Miller Davidson, Jimmy Huffman, Carter H. Oliver, Charles Pierce and Donnie Williams.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday.

Born July 15, 1920, in Symsonia, Ky., he was the son of Thomas Eli Wallace and Carrie E. Sullivan Wallace, now deceased.

He was married Jan. 2, 1960, to the former Mary Louise Sanders, who survives.

Wallace was a former carpenter with Barrett Construction Co. A member of American Legion, he was a World War II Army veteran. He attended Blood River Church of Christ.

He also leaves a sister, Antoinette (Delmer) Owens of Paris, Three nieces: Gail Robertson, Jan Phillips and Tracey Turner, all of Paris, and a nephew: Grant Owens of Brandon, Miss.
