Donald was a member of The Church of the Ascension. He retired from WPAFB working for McGraw-Hill after 17 years of service in 1994.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Matheson in March 2004, daughter, Eileen Hamilton and one brother.
He is survived by daughters, Joanne (Walter) Bussell of Beavercreek, Lisa Heckalthon of Urbana and Jeanne (Michael) Smith of Greenville;
sons, Edward Matheson and Stephen (Kathleen) Matheson all of Kettering; 14 grandchildren;
1 great-grandchild;
brother, Jack Matheson of Niagara Fall, NY; and sisters, Sally Glasgow and Mary Connolly, both of Niagara Falls, NY, Pat Atkinson of North Carolina
and Donna Wemett of Syracuse, NY.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr.,
Kettering. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Family will receive friends, Tuesday from 5-8:00 PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
