Mr. James Hubert Hightower of Farmersville, Texas passed away Friday at his residence. He was born December 28, 1942 in Farmersville the son of Pete and Martha Stanford Hightower. He married Carol Bailey August 11, 1972 in Rockwall. He was a member of the TrinityBaptistChurch, a retired Florist, and barber, served in the United States Army and was a member of the Farmersville VFW. He organized and owned the Boon Doxxx Motor Cross race track in Farmersville. He his survived by his wife Carol of Farmersville, his daughters; Carol Ann Green and husband Kevin, and Pamela Varga all of Farmersville. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Mikel Green, Magan Green, Panda Green, Emily Varga and Jamie Varga all of Farmersville. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Paul Hightower. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the I.O.O.F.Cemetery in Farmersville with Rev. Larry Craig officiating with Army military rites at the graveside. Visitation will be from 4-6 P.M. Sunday at the Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home. The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the V.A.HospitalCancerCenter or the Farmersville VFW.
