Selma Olsen Bertelsen, 97, of Springville, passed away October 27, 1997, at Orchard Park Care Center in Orem, Utah. She was born April 4, 1900, in Spanish Fork, Utah, the 11th child of Hans Olsen and Sena Christensen Olsen. She married Erwin 'Doc' Bertelsen February 20, 1924, in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple. He preceded her in death March 8, 1965. She is survived by a son, Scott (Carole) Bertelsen of Springville; a daughter, Chloe Low of Cedar Hills; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Ann Bertelsen and Lorraine Miller; a son, Ronald E. Bertelsen; a son-in-law, Stewart Low; her parents; six brothers and four sisters. Burial was October 30, 1997.
