Donald "Donnie" Emmett Turley, 44 years, 4 months and 14 days, passed away on May 12, 2003 in 4 wheeler accident.
Donnie was born on Dec. 28, 1958, to Gerald O. and Phyllis Kay (Wall) Turley. Donnie was the second child of six children. He was raised south of Musselshell on the Turley Ranch. Donnie attended first through sixth grade at Musselshell School and completed his education at Roundup High School, graduating in 1977.
While working in the Custer area, Donnie met his wife-to-be, Deveny Lynn Keller. They were married June 9, 1979, in Custer. He was the proud father of six children: Dawn Fulton and her husband Andy of Billings, Gerald O. Turley II, Patrick, Jenny and Ryan of the family home, and David F. Turley of Roundup.
There was not much Donnie didn't do and nothing he couldn't. He always went back to the life that he enjoyed: being a cowboy. Donnie has many friends and was known as a great all around guy. He will be sadly missed.
A Memorial Trust Fund has been established at First Security Bank, PO Box 100, Roundup, MT 59702, for his children.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 16, at Wier Funeral Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place Saturday, May 17, 3 p.m. at St. Benedict's Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at the Musselshell Cemetery.
Luncheon will follow at Musselshell School.
