She grew up in Ashtabula as part of a large Italian family. Loved to dance and listen to music. She spent a lot of time at Lake Erie dances and Geneva on the Lake. She was a very "spunky" lady who touched the hearts of many with her jokes and good humor.
She was a proud Veteran of WWII, serving in the Women's Army Corp for 4 years. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren that served/serve. She also volunteered at the Ann Arbor VA hospital for many years. She worked at Bendix Corp and worked on the first black box to go to the moon. She loved her grandchildren and cherished being "GG" to her great grandchildren. She has resided at Superior Woods Assisted Living for the past several years and will be missed by many. She was often seen racking up the many miles she walked everyday inside. Always said hello to everyone. Loved watching old movies and listening to 40's music and dancing when she was able. She was known as "Jo Jo" to the girls who took care of her every day. Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph and Teresa Fusco, her brothers, Joe and Frank and her sisters, Adeline, Anita, Jenny, Laura and Christine.
