She was a proud Veteran of WWII, serving in the Women's Army Corp for 4 years. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren that served/serve. She also volunteered at the Ann Arbor VA hospital for many years. She worked at Bendix Corp and worked on the first black box to go to the moon. She loved her grandchildren and cherished being "GG" to her great grandchildren. She has resided at Superior Woods Assisted Living for the past several years and will be missed by many. She was known as "Jo Jo" to the girls who took care of her every day.
