William A. "Bill" Adams, 85, died Friday, August 8, 2014. He was born on March 2, 1929.

He was owner of the old Fern Creek Meat Market, an Army veteran, a member of F.O.P. River City Lodge and dedicated supporter of WHAS Crusade for Children through "Kevin's Pumper".

He is survived by his sons, Robby (Juli) and Kevin; grandchildren, Kyle (Lisa) and Lauren Ellis (Aaron); great grandchildren, Justin and Ella Adams and Aiden and Jackson Ellis; and brothers, Bobby, Carl (Elaine), Dickey (Nancy), Tracy and Kenny.

Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday.
