EMIGSVILLE William A. Grim, 65, passed away at 3:40 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2014, at his home. He was the cherished husband and best friend of Linda (Wallick) Grim who he was married to for over 20 years. William was born July 11, 1949, in York, the son of the late Cletus and Marguerite (Singleton) Grim. He worked for over 42 years with Campbell Chain in York and retired in 2013. He was a member of the K&M Hunting Camp in Tioga County and proudly served his country in the United States Army. In addition to his wife, Linda, William is survived by his son Chad Grim of Dallastown, his step-sons, David Hall and his wife Trena of Dover and Russell Hall of Hampton, Va.; his daughters, Sandra Golihew and her husband Brett of Manchester, Billie Jo Scortino and her husband Mike of York, his step-daughters, Jennifer Smith and her husband Todd of Mount Wolf and Jody Hall of York Haven; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and his three sisters, Brenda Diffendarfer of Fla., Sharon Dietz and her husband Lonny of Dover and Susan Stambaugh and her husband Brian of York. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to his viewing from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 S. Main St., Mount Wolf. His celebration of life service will begin at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Mount Rose Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Chaplain Leon Via from VNA.
