Born on July 24, 1951 in Niles, MI, Larry was the son of David L. and Rhoda Mae (Baker) Kendall. He attended the Andrews Academy in Berrien Springs, MI.
On February 14, 1994, in Kenosha, he was united in marriage to Denise Gaboury.
He owned and operated Hand-L-Bar Hang Ups, installing blinds and draperies, subcontracting throughout the area.
Larry was an avid classic car buff and restorer. He was proud of the accomplishment of building his custom Model A Woody replica from ground up. He enjoyed carpentry projects and playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Denise; his mother; his three children, Christopher (Crystal) Kendall, James (Sarah) Warren, Jennifer (Andrew) Hicks; six grandchildren, Olivia and Addison Warren, Emily Stowe and Logan Hicks, Trevor Kendall and Ethan Dill, and two sisters, Nancy Mae Kendall and Rhoda Jane (Dennis) Tilly.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Service:
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
Visitation:
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 22nd, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home.
Memorial:
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances would be appreciated.
