Mrs. Alta B. McHaffie, 63 years old, died at Miami Baptist hospital at 4 o'clock this morning. Her home was at 17 M street southeast.
Survivors include three sons, Noel McHaffie of Swan, Mo., and Chester and Clifford McHaffie, both of Port Angeles, Wash.; two daughters, Mildred Howell and Mrs. Buena Chorn, both of Miami; six brothers, J.S. Hires, John Hires and Alex Hires, all of Kissee Mills, Mo., Frank Hires and Alfred Hires, both of Taneyville, Mo., and George Hines of Lexington, kas., and eight grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Cooper Funeral home is in charge of the bodes.
