Glenn was born in Donna, Texas on August 16, 1920 to Glenn Maurice, Abney, Sr. and Ruth (Rickey) Abney. Glenn served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was a Registered Nurse.
Survivors include his wife (Randy) Mildred Abney of Brenham; son Glenn Maurice Abney III of Burnet, Texas; daughters Ann Bevers and husband Kenneth of Chappell Hill, Texas and Glenda Riegel and husband Darrell of Maryville, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Cremation is requested and no services are planned.
