Dolores H. Stone, age 81, of Ripon, WI formerly of Whitewater, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at her home with family by her side.

Dolores was born May 4, 1933, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Gustav and Emma (Tussaway) Pearson. Her family moved to Wisconsin in the early 40's to start the family farm and she graduated from high school in Whitewater. In 1970, Dolores married Gerald Stone. From Whitewater they moved to Little Green Lake in semi-retirement and then to Ripon for the last 27 years. She worked as a cashier and bookkeeper for a variety of different stores. Dolores was a dedicated mother and enjoyed crossword puzzles and gardening. In her later years, she enjoyed going on bus trips.

Survivors include her son, William Pence of Port Washington, WI; daughter, Cindy (Dave) Meyer of Watertown, WI; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald; son, Kenneth (Connie) Pence; brother, Roy (Helma) Pearson and her daughter-in-law, Sally Pence.
