Born February 24, 1919 in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Mary Gundy.
Sarah was a graduate of Bucknell University.
She was a member of the Camp Hill United Methodist Church.
In addition, Sarah was a member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Pi Beta Phi Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas C. Stephenson; and, by her daughter: Jane S. Witmer.
Surviving is Sarah's son and daughter-in-law: Thomas and Ann Stephenson of Duncannon; her six grandchildren; her seven great-grandchildren; her son-in-law: Verle Witmer of Roanoke, Virginia; and, her sister: Peggy Ulmer of Lewisburg.
