Cpl. U.S. Army, {RA16910889}, Vietnam War-Cpl. Taylor was killed in action from an explosive device on 8-4-1968 while serving as a Heavy Construction Equipment Operator with the HHC of the 86th Engineer Battalion, 34th Engineer Group, 20th Engineer Brigade. Cpl. Taylor started his tour of duty of Vietnam on 5-31-1968.

He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Burton W. Taylor of 20 West 451st Army Trail Road, Addison, Illinois.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
