She passed away on August 6, 2014, at West Plains, MO at the age of 55 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Maggie Farris, and one stepbrother Doug Cline.
Janice is survived by two sons Vince M.R. Farris and wife Terre of West Plains, MO and Jasson A.K. Farris and wife Andrea of Mountain View, MO; one daughter Deana D.R. Norton and husband L. Aaron of Winona, MO; two brothers Edward S. Farris of Winona, MO and David L. Farris and wife Devan of Midwest City, OK; two sisters Michelle Lynn Farris of Conway, AR and LaDawn Haney and husband Dale of Doniphan, MO; 10 grandchildren Kialy Dawn Farris, Kevin Michael Farris, Kaydence T.A. Farris, Lincoln Farris, Taylor Thomason, Justin Norton, Andrea Brake and husband Matt, Ben Murrell, James "Jimmy" Murrell, and Melissa Murrell; and one great-grandson Beck Murrell; stepmother Faye Farris of Thayer, MO; one stepbrother David Sacre of Thayer, MO; one stepsister Missy Bowers of Thayer, MO; and a host of other family and friends.
She attended church at the Lighthouse Church in Winona, MO. Janice was like a mom to her brothers.
Janice is fondly remembered for making homemade ice cream and sharing it with her family.
She enjoyed cooking or giving instructions to those who were doing the cooking.
She loved animals, especially her fish which she enjoyed feeding and watching.
Janice loved jewelry and enjoyed shopping and collecting jewelry.
Janice was a big fan of Elvis and loved listening to his music.
She enjoyed being in the outdoors and spending time with her family; especially the times spent a Rocky Falls.
