BRIDPORT, VT. - Norman Bertrand Audet, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20th 2015.

Norman was born on January 28th 1929 in Frampton, Quebec, Canada, he was the son of Fortunate Joseph and Emerilda Audet.

He grew up a Farmer and a fisherman.

He married his late wife, Mary-Rose Highter, in 1958.

They bought Blue Spruce Farm that same year,where they raised their family and their family continues to reside.

He spoke fondly of his travels. He and Mary-Rose spent several winters in Florida. He enjoyed walking on the beach, collecting sand dollars, and meeting people.

In his later years he enjoyed playing cards, putting together puzzles, tinkering with trains, and decorating for Christmas. But mostly he lived for visits with his family over a glass of rum and Coke. He diligently documented the good times in pictures. He leaves behind a treasure trove of photo albums.

He is predeceased by his wife, Mary-Rose. He is also predeceased by his brothers, Alonzo and Leandre (Curly), his foster daughter, Donna Tanner, and his daughter-in-law, Diane Bilodeau Audet.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 24th at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
