Alden Bull Mapleton 83. Died unexpectedly at his residence 2-20-1996. Born in Washburn 8-1-1912 the second son of 13 children of Edward and Nettie (Fox) Bull. He was a graduate of Washburn High School, Class of 1929. He farmed in Mapleton most of his life and was co-owner of a gravel operation business in Washburn. He was a member of the State Road Advent Christian Church and Sunday School, where he held various offices through the years. He was a member of Washburn Lodge No.193 AF&AM and Garfield Chapter No.48 AF&AM receiving his 50 year pin in 1994. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of MPG from 1959-1976. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Allen) Bull of Mapleton, 3 daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Laurie) Harris of Washburn, Mrs. Don (Mary) McAllister of Mapleton and Mrs. Terry (Janice) Despres of Ashland, 9 grandchildren, Mark, Merrill, Mitchell, Matthew, Shannon, Emily, Dane, Cyrus and Michelle, 2 great grandchildren, Maryl Rae and Dani, a brother, Floyd Bull of Kennebunkport, 3 sisters, Lucy McCuen of Benson, VT., Janet Bell of Gorham and Carolyn Dahlgren of Yarmouth, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Daniel in 1963, 5 brothers, Wilmot, Merrill, Marshall, Jasper and Arden Bull. Burial Crouseville cemetery.
