John Brown Johnson, 88, died Sunday, January 30, 2000, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moores Funeral Home, with burial in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Bonner and Barbara Roberts, both of Milledgeville; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will be at Moores Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 tonight.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Williams Johnson; two sons Cecil Carlos Johnson and Clarence Eugene "Buddy" Johnson; son-in-law Edward "Bubba" Bonner and three grandsons, James Eddie Bonner , Ronney Eugene Johnson and William Carey Roberts, Jr.
