Charlotte married in 1938 to Carl Evans Shupp. They had two children, Glen Evans and Richard William Shupp. Richard predeceased her in 2003. She later married Gerald John Reynolds in 1947 and they had three daughters, Patricia Joanne Reynolds Oeser, Diana Jean Reynolds Penrose and Darlene Jill Reynolds Bourne Bowerman. Gerald died in 1949. She then married Clarence Gene 'Pete' Pope in 1952 and they had one son David Peter Pope. Pete predeceased her in 2002 and David in 2013. Charlotte also had another daughter that she gave up for adoption, Laura Kathleen 'Crickett' Horr Paull. Charlotte had 23 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
Charlotte loved crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, gardening, sewing, crafts, canning, bee keeping, camping and walking on the beach.
She attended Rockwood Grade School and Gresham High School.
She worked at Jantzen Knitting Mills where she sewed parachutes during WWII and later knitted sweaters and swimsuits, Libbie's Cannery, and was a Lookout at Mt. Wilson in 1947.
