Services for Audra McKlemurry Fly of Glendora will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fly, 83, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at her residence.
Mrs. Fly, a longtime resident of Glendora, was born on Jan. 28, 1924, to the late James Lee McKlemurry and Ethel Wilson McKlemurry. She was born in Wilkinson County and lived briefly in Woodville and St. Francisville, La., before moving to the Mississippi Delta at an early age.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lafayette Fly, in March of 1997, and by her siblings, Cecil McKlemurry and Faye McKlemurry Owens.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Fly and wife Sharon of Greensboro, Ga., and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of services Saturday at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home.
The Rev. Chad Hopkins will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Dale Turner, Clint Turner, Gerald Turner, Gregg Richardson, Robert Richardson, Daniel Richardson and Shane Bryant.
Wilson and Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery in Oakland.
The family requests that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, the Humane Society or the Animal Rescue Foundation.
