LUCASVILLE - CHESTER A. BAKER, 73, of Lucasville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Center, Portsmouth, Ohio.

He was born August 15th, 1940 in Pikeville, Kentucky, the son of the late Ballard and Gladys Viola Cable Baker.

He was united in marriage to Sandra Elizabeth Pollock "Sandy" Baker who preceded him in death on October 18, 2009.

Surviving are children, Rose Clark of Georgia, Sandra Boldman of Lucasville, James Baker of Alabama, Joe Baker of Tennessee, David Baker and Martha Harmon, William Baker, Tammy Harmon and husband Aaron Harmon all of Lucasville, three brothers, Elemer Baker of Sciotoville, Ohio, Ballard Baker of Wheelersburg and George Baker of Kentucky and two sisters, Juanita Craycraft of Sciotoville and Bessie Baker. Also surviving are step-children, Wanda Buckhalter of Otway and David Buckhalter of Lucasville, and grandchildren Aaron Harmon, Darren Harmon, Devin Baker, Arnold Dillenger, Katrina Bobst, Todd Clark, Chrissy Clark, Michael Clark, Tampus Baker, Isiah Baker, Brookly Furrer, Tuesday Baker, Dakota Mason, Lane Mason, Mattie Mason, Chester Buckhalter, Cheyenne Clay, Makayla Buckhalter, David Buckhalter, and Dalton Markin.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway, with Pastor Dale Lute officiating. Burial will follow in Crabtree Cemetery, Otway. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
