He was born in Batesville, Arkansas on January 30, 1961 to John W. Ball and Doris (Talley) Ball.
He graduated from Batesville High School in 1979 and worked as an auto detailer at Nels Ball & Son Car Dealership. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and detailing them. He was a kind, generous, friendly person who enjoyed animals, especially his cat.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, John "Jay" Ball and Louise Ball of Batesville; one brother, John W. Ball III of San Diego, CA; one sister, Francesca (Ball) Stafford of Batesville; and a nephew, Graham Stafford also of Batesville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Ball, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Carlin Alexander, Curt Thompson, David Thompson, Randy Long and Eric Nast. Honorary pallbearers are Rick Wallace, Ed Gardner, Dean Baker, Jackie Nast, and Graham Stafford.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Oaklawn Cemetery with Randy Scott officiating.
There will be no visitation.
