Jo-Ann H. McKinney, of Columbus. Beloved and courageous mother went to be with the Holy Father Monday, March 23, 1998. She showed courage and honor everyday. She raised three sons on her own, successfully. Jo-Ann worked 42 years for the Columbus Public Schools. A testament to her strength. Our Heavenly Father receives Jo-Ann to heaven's benefit and this world loses her to its detriment. Survived by her three sons, Michael (Margie), Kelly Lee and Kevin Eugene; grandchildren, Sarah Ann and Joseph Michael; sister, Sue (David) Williams; step-brothers and sisters, Margaret (Dwight) Turula, Doris (Ingvar) Iverson, Jack (Caryl) Ruth, Roberta (Melvin) Futrell, Wayne (Dorothy) Ruth, Roger Ruth; niece, Sherri (Jim) Wagner; and many other nieces and nephews. Calilng hours at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 229 E. State St. from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., vigil prayer service 8:30 p.m. Friday March 27, 1998. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Catharine Catholic Church, 500 S. Gould Rd. at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 1998 with Fr. Joseph John Trapp II, celebrant. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
