She was born in Fairmont on Oct. 30, 1967, a daughter of William Sydney and Lila Gwenadine (Cole) McFann of Rivesville.
Denise was a loving homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of Rivesville High School. She enjoyed playing bingo, tending to flowers, gardening, painting, collecting Longaberger baskets, riding four-wheelers with her husband and attending flea markets and yard sales.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Michael D. Willis of Rivesville; two sons, Joshua Thorn of Morgantown and Michael Willis of Rivesville; one stepdaughter, Trina Clevenger and her husband Rob of Rivesville; and one granddaughter, Beatrice Clevenger.
Also surviving are three brothers, Randy McFann of Rivesville, Reginald McFann and his wife Renee of Fairmont, and Rodney McFann and his wife Crystal of Rivesville; four sisters, Darlene Radcliff and her husband Ronald of Fairmont, Diana McClung of Rivesville, Donna Devores and her husband Ron of Monongah, and Doreen Knisely and her husband Ron of Morgantown; three brothers-in-law, Jeff Willis of Enterprise, Tom Willis and his wife Dusty of Enterprise, and Chris Willis and his wife Kelly of Winchester, Va.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie McFann; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Oscar and Nettie Willis; and her grandparents, Ray and Gladys Cole and Truman and Oma McFann.
Interment will be at Arnettsville Cemetery in Monongalia County.
