Funeral service for Mrs. Marcia Lyneese Watkins who passed away in a local hospital on Thursday, July 31, 2014 will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with Rev. Bernard Keel, officiating. Interment will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
She leaves to cherish precious memories of her with husband, Vernon S. Watkins, Sr.; children, Caratanya A. Stone, Tiana Boone; grandchildren, RayQuisha Edwards, Roshell Edwards and Cherrie Lane; sister, Genietha Chestnut and Gretta Moncriffe; aunts, Maggie Ashley; nieces, Shannon Moncriffe, Mariah Chestnut; nephews, Josh Moncriffe, Jermeleo Chestnut; cousins, Ray Ashley and wife, Mary, Linda Ashley and husband, Stephan, Wendall Ashley and wife, Lillie, Ronnie Ashley and wife, Vanessa, Lydia Ashley, Reaina Ashley; a host of other grieving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mrs. Marcia Lyneese Chestnut Watkins was a native of Tampa, Florida for fifty four years. She attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and she was a member of Allen Temple A.M.E. Church. Mrs. Watkins was employed as a Child Care Worker with the Hillsborough County School System until her Health failed.
