Mrs. Catherine Lambert died August 4, 2014 in Louisiana. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa to the late Hilton (Cub) and Margaret Gillen Culbertson. She was of the Catholic faith.
Throughout her life she loved learning new things. She attended many schools and classes. She spent her childhood traveling the United States with her parents and attended over 34 schools before graduating High School. She pursued a career in nursing. She was a licensed florist, published stained glass artist; she authored and published a cookbook. Whatever her interest was at the time, she studied it and became proficient in it. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends. She will be greatly missed by many. -

Ms. Lambert is survived by her daughters: Lori Cage and husband Stewart and Mandy McCarroll and her husband David; 1 son: Kevin Lambert and his wife Lori, her precious grandchildren: C.J. Cage, Emma Lambert, Meredith Wilson, Carson Lambert, Dalton Wilson, and Austin Wilson; brothers, James Culbertson and wife Janet, Don Culbertson and wife Mary Jane, Cliff Culbertson and wife Judy; step-sister Angie Guidry; nieces, Tara Judd, Cassie Baker, Faine Stevens, and Chris Byrd.
She was preceded in death by parents: Hilton (Cub) and Margaret Culbertson.

A rosary mass was held on Wednesday evening, August 6, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, August 7, 2014, St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church. Services were conducted by Fr. Eric Gyan.
Entombment to follow at Hope Haven Mausoleum in Gonzales.
Pallbearers were Murphy Painter, Kenny Lambert, John Gillentine, Chris Picou, Louie Lamendola, and Gilbert Merren.
