MUNCIE--Mrs. Callie Marie Burress King, 83, passed away on May 16, 2003.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, James Samuel Burress (Rick) (wife-Barbara) of Muncie; a brother, Billy G. Burress of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Elizabeth Hill and Fern Williams, both of Muncie; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George King; parents, John and Elizabeth Burress; a brother, John Burress; and a sister, Rosamae Bryant.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Gholar & Gholar Funeral Service. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Gholar & Gholar Funeral Service. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Gholar & Gholar Funeral Service, 900 E. Kirby Ave.
