Linda went to be with her heavenly Father July 31st, 2014 at her home with her husband and daughter and 2 family friends with her, after a 2 year, 9 month battle with brain cancer.
She was born in Burlington, WA on October 4th, 1947 to Elmer and Helen Messer. She was preceded in death by her mother (Helen "Messer" Yunt), stepfather (Herald Yunt), brothers (Kenny Messer, Roger Messer) and nephew (Thomas Messer).
She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Hoover of 37 years, daughter Lisa Croke-Banks (Michael), father Elmer Messer (Lou), brothers Cleve Messer, Charlie Messer (Donna), grandson Corey Summers, granddaughters Chelsey "Banks" Conda (Tyler), Cammey Croke, great-grandson Skyler Summers, great-granddaughter Caroline Summers, stepsiblings, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Linda loved camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed country music, dancing and crocheting and knitting. She had made each one of her grandkids beautiful detailed blankets.
Linda will be greatly remembered for her laughter, smile, caring, and love she shared with all.
There will be a memorial service on August 16, 2014 at Valley Baptist Church, 710 John Liner Rd., Sedro-Woolley, WA at 1pm. Fellowship and potluck to follow for family and friends. Questions concerning potluck, call Donna Messer at 360-856-0497.
