MICHELLE WAYNE, 42, of 353 Granville, deputy jailer with the Shelby County Sheriff's Department, died Sunday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home Whitehaven Chapel has charge. She was a member of Pentecostal Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
She leaves two sons, Darius M. Patton and Kenneth Taylor Jr., both of Memphis; her parents, Martha Bell of Memphis and John Leake of Southaven; five sisters Joecleta Singleton, Kimberlyn Coleman, Shuronda Bell, and Gwen Partee, all of Memphis, and Janet Armstrong of Madison, Miss.; three brothers, Walter Wayne, James Bell Jr. and Earl Leake, all of Memphis, and two grandchildren.
