He attended Berry’s Chapel Elementary School and Coffeeville High School where he graduated. He was a baptized member of Berry’s Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Winn. He retired after 35 years of civil service in Indianapolis, Indiana and returned home to Winn in 1998.
