Services for Roy Leeson, 67, will be Thursday at 2:30 at the First Baptist Church, Savannah. Burial will be in the Savannah Cemetery.
Visitation will be this evening from 7 until 8:30 at the Jackson Funeral Home, Savannah.
The body will be taken to the church an hour before service time
Mr. Leeson died Tuesday morning at a Kanas City, Kansas Hospital from respiratory arrest brought on by metastatic cancer of the colon
Born on a farm in Andrew County, the son of George and Cynthia Massie Leeson, he was a lifelong resident of Andrew County. Mr. Leeson owned and operated the Savannah Sale Barn for 12 years. He was a lifelong livestock dealer and farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Savannah.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Leeson of the home; one son, Ronald Leeson, Savannah; two daughters, Shirley Howard, Savannah, and Norma Mackey, Platte City, Missouri; two brothers, Carl Leeson and Tommy Lesson, both of St. Joseph; one sister, Dorothy Coy, St. Joseph; and 10 grandchildren.
