Victor F. Herrmann, age 92, formerly of 9410 Hwy. T, Whitelaw, Wis. died late Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Msgr. Robert Gulig will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with Sr. Marlene Greatens, homilist. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Victor was born July 6, 1909 in the town of Kossuth, son of the late Charles and Frances Steeber Herrmann. He grew up and was educated at local schools and graduated from the Moller Barber School, Milwaukee. He was a Master Barber since 1926 to 1999. He was also an owner operator of a cheese factory from 1930 to 1959. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling, flower gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He married Tillie Pelishek, June 16, 1931 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, New Denmark. She preceded him in death March 12, 1988.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, former treasurer of the congregation 1970-1987, St. Joseph Holy Name Society, honorary member of Knights of Columbus Council #710, Maribel Senior Citizens and the Kellnersville Betterment Association.
Surviving children include: Harlan C. Herrmann, Two Rivers; Victor C. and Helen Herrmann, Manitowoc, Myron A. Herrmann, Manitowoc, Janet M. and Wilmer Siebert, Two Rivers and Eugene J. and Verna Herrmann, Fond du Lac; 28 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren. One brother: Leonard Herrmann, Manitowoc; one sister and brother-in-law: Geneva and Roland Karbon, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law: Margaret Herrmann, Branch and Alice Herrmann, Manitowoc; son-in-law: Harold Kabat, Brillion; special friend: Alvina Shimek, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife Tillie, two daughters: Bernice Kabat and infant daughter Mary Ann, four brothers: Clarence, Charles, John, Joseph, one sister: Regina Vraney and daughter-in-law Angeline Herrmann.
Relatives and Friends may call at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville from 4-9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, 2001 and on Saturday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9 a.m. to the time of service at 10:30 a.m. A Parish Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday with Sr. Marlene Greatens officiating.
