The Star and Sentinel December 9, 1944

William H Baker, 50, formerly of Buchanan Valley, died Sunday in Harrisburg of a complication of diseases. He was a veteran of World War I and had resided in Harrisburg for the last 25 years.
A native of Washington county, Md., he was a son of John M and Mary (Schultz) Baker, of Buchanan valley. The parents are the only survivors.
Funeral services Thursday morning at 9:00 at St. Ignatius Catholic church with the
Rev. Fr. Daniel Crowley officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
