William R. Juneau, 63, of Seabeck died of natural causes Oct. 3 in Seabeck.

He was born and raised in Bremerton. His parents were William and Helen Juneau. He graduated from West High School in Bremerton in 1961, Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma in 1965 and the University of Washington in 1970. Mr. Juneau enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1966. He worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for six years before retiring in 2004.

He was also a marketing representative for IBM and co-owner of Bremerton Stereo Center with business partner Brian Treger. Mr. Juneau was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and United Way of Kitsap County. His "greatest pleasure" was spending time with his friends. He also enjoyed gardening and hiking.

He is survived by his son.
