Former resident of Beatrice dies
Mrs. Ed Allen of Minden, formerly of Beatrice died at Belleville, Kan. Sunday.
A requiem high mass will be said at the St. John's Catholic Church in Minden at 10:30 on Wednesday. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. at the Catholic Cemetery in Beatrice.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Ed of Minden; seven children, Miss Irene Allen, Minden; Mrs. Roy Kirby, Hastings; Mrs. William Edwards, Wilkinsburg, Pa.; Thomas, Santa Monica, Calif,; James of Long Beach Calif.; Lawrence, Lincoln; John of Hastings' eleven grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. John Blantz of Waterville, Kan., and one brother, James Murray of Joplin, Mo.
