Mr. Kelly Cleveland Lovelace, age 75 of West Jefferson, NC died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Margate Health & Rehab Center. Mr. Lovelace was born January 23, 1933 in Grayson County, Virginia to the late Basil and Zuria Farmer Lovelace. Mr. Lovelace was a distinguished US Army veteran who served in both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Haw Orchard Baptist Church by Rev. Randy Lovelace. Burial will follow in the Haw Orchard Cemetery with military rites. Mr. Lovelace will lie in state from 1:00 - 2:00 prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 PM Friday, March 14th at Badger Funeral Home. Mr. Lovelace is survived by: His wife: Peggy Richardson Lovelace of the home. 1 son: Michael Lovelace of Shrewsbury, MA 2 daughters: Betty Lovelace of Woodbridge, VA & Rita Pryor of Denver, NC 3 brothers: Jesse Lovelace of Bel Air, MD, Fielden Lovelace of Pamplin, VA & Ralph Lovelace of St. Paul, NC 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
