Erik Stephen Johnson, age 20 of Kenosha, died tragically in an automobile accident on Thursday, December 20, 2012.

A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was born on May 19, 1992 and was the son of Jack "Steve" and Terri (Martin) Johnson. He attended local schools and was 2010 graduate of Bradford High School.

On August 14, 2012, he was married to Alyssa Wathen. They were so excited when they found out they were expecting their first child.

He was employed as a loader for United Parcel Service.

Erik was an avid skate boarder. He loved playing the guitar and shopping, especially for shoes.

He is survived by his wife, Alyssa; his step-daughter, Kailey; his parents, Jack "Steve" and Terri Johnson, of Kenosha; his two sisters, Amber and Heather Johnson, both of Kenosha; and his maternal grandmother, Grace Martin.

Erik was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; and paternal grandparents.

Service:

A Memorial Service in celebration of Erik's life will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue.

Visitation:

A gathering of relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home, 3720 39th Avenue on Thursday, January 3rd from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the family would be appreciated.
