Casey Lynn "Brother" Dixon, 27, of Harrison Drive, Greeneville, died Wednesday at his home.
He worked with his father at Mike Dixon Construction until 2009.
He attended various churches over the years with his family.
He enjoyed reading his Bible, quoting Scripture and talking about the Lord.
He was a very kind, caring and loving son, brother and uncle.
He was a 2005 graduate from South Greene High School.
Survivors include his parents: Michael and Deborah Dixon; a sister and brother-in-law: Candace and Brad Duncan of Jonesborough; two very special nieces: Hannah and Caydence Duncan; his grandmother: Bertha Dixon of Greeneville; several aunts, uncles and cousins, including a special aunt, Pamela Gail Dixon; a very special friend: Caryn Holcombe; and a special hunting dog: Odie.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: James Dwight and Louise Presley, and Guy Dean Dixon; and an uncle, Ricky Lynn Presley.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel.
The Rev. Jerry Scalf will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9:15 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim Dixon, Travis Dixon, Tracey Foshie, Tim Taylor, Ricky Dunbar and Todd Norris.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Graham, Brad Duncan, Greg Self, Mark Foshie, Bobby Lynn Whitaker, Ronnie Babb, Chad Higgenboth, several other cousins, Dr. Remy Sagadraca and the ER staff at Takoma Regional Hospital, the 2005 graduates, teachers and staff at South Greene High School, and various friends in the contracting and building industry.
