Wallace known to his family as Wally, was the first child born to Walter and Emma Elizabeth (Biesele) Peters. In 1931, when Wally was 3, his father died after an operation to remove his appendix. His mother was reunited with her childhood friend Carlton Pearsall, and they were married in 1932. Carlton was a wonderful step-father to Wally, as he grew up. Wally joined the Army after WW2, and was stationed in post war Germany. After returning home, he worked at a few places, including John Wanamaker's, SAS, and later the Long Island Rail Road. He married in 1964, and had two children. His family settled in Bayshore, NY on Long Island. After his and his wife's retirement, the couple relocated to Rockledge, FL
