George Lee Bilderback February 12, 1928, to November 10, 2013, After 85 years of service, our gentle giant has moved on to his next duty station. He has joined with all the Bilderbacks, Fentons, and Oakmans who have gone before him. He was honored to serve his country for 20 years proudly. The adventure he most loved was when he met and married his sweetheart of 52 years, his Sweet Maclovia. He... was all of her best times and it just got better over time as they traveled their journey together. He was proud of his children, Jo Anne Slaybaugh, Carol Stiefer, and Ted Bilderback, and loved each one for the people they have become. He loved watching them as they started their own families, Darin Slaybaugh, Kathryn Slaybaugh, Collin Slaybaugh, Kurt Arden Stiefer, Kaylin Stiefer, Merrick Stiefer, Mary Curran Bilderback, and Solomon Bilderback. Have a great adventure at your next duty station, George, Dad, Poppie! We love you! Military services will be at Tahoma National Cemetery on Friday, November 15, 2013, at 10:00 am. Reception to follow at St. John the Baptist in Covington at 11:00. Don't worry, be happy we will have cookies and ice cream.
