Pamela Murphy, 73, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Portneuf Medical Center.

Pamela Read Murphy was born on December 5, 1940 in England. She was raised primarily by her Nan.

Pamela worked as a nurse midwife, prenatal instructor, and a real estate agent. She is well known for her generous nature. She was always offering to help others.

She became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in her early twenties. She was going to set those missionary yanks straight and ended up being baptized. She made many sacrifices to live her religion and showed a lot of faith in doing so. Her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren. Pamela was loved by many and will greatly missed.

She is survived by her two children, Matthew Philip Murphy, and Melissa Murphy Hill. She is also survived by her six siblings, Malcom, Ann, Robert, John, Olwyn, and Glyn.
