MASSEY, Anita Louise "Chicky" Age 70 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013 at her residence. She was born on October 6, 1942 in Wayland, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James and Agnes (Goodall) Wallace. In 1957, Anita married her husband of over 55 years, Richard T. Massey. She was an animal activist, restaurateur and a wonderful cook. Anita enjoyed collecting antiques, always found time to read and especially loved her grandkids. She was a member of Ross Community United Methodist Church. Anita is survived by her husband, Richard T. Massey; children, Mark (Susan) Massey, Michael (Cos Nasca) Massey and Lori Massey; grandchildren, Amber (Jon), Bryan, Trevor and Tessa; and great-grandchildren, Kiley and Reese. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to send a special thank you to the IMC nurses at Fort Hamilton Hospital and to the girls at Huntington Court. A Gathering for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 10:30am until 11:00am at Ross Community United Methodist Church, 2943 Hamilton-Cleves Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday at 11am at the church with Rev. John A. Guliano officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Animal Adoption Foundation, 2480 Ross-Millville Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
