Born April 4, 1918, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Cynthia (Rector) DeBevoise. She had been employed as a key punch operator at Anchor Hocking for over 24 years, and was a member of First Methodist Church.
She is survived by her brother, John (Ruth) DeBevoise, Newark; nieces, Carroll (Steve) Dordik, Gahanna, Kathie Davies, London, England, Melinda (Keith) Barnett, Barbara (Jim) Fluharty, Tenn., nephews, Merrill Langel, Amesville, Roger (Jennifer) DeBevoise, Gary (Molly) DeBevoise, Richard (Pam) DeBevoise.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Roy and Carl; and sisters, Mary, Nora, and Ethel.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newark, with Rev. Larry Brown officiating. No calling hours will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assn.
