BUTLER, Mrs. Miriam Charles, 89, of Seman, Alabama passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014. Visitation will be at Gassett Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with services at Seman Congregational Church on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Seman Congregational Church Cemetery. Rev. Doyle Brown and Rev. Doug Chappelle will officiate. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Nannie Mae King of Williamson, South Carolina. She is survived by her husband, Oscar Abram Butler; sons, Craig (Gloria) Butler and Rickie (Holly) Butler; grandchildren, Jeana (Aaron) Winter and Leslie (David) Mundt; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Winter, Katie Ruth Winter, and Mason Mundt; sisters, Mary Reeves, JoAn (Carrol) Powers, Ruby (Lewis) Gerisch, and Francis Syczyco; brothers, Cecil (Guynell) King, Robert (Margaret) King, and Charles (Peggy) King. Pallbearers will be Aaron Winter, David Mundt, Terry Butler, Dexter King, Chad Stearns, Andy Moore, Allen Moore, and Donald Mann. Honorary pallbearers will be James King & Wayne King. The family expresses a special thanks and blessing to all of her caretakers and Hospice of Community Hospital in Tallassee, Alabama.
