He was in Detroit until 1888 pitching and playing a couple games in the outfield. His last season was with the Pittsburgh Alleghenys pitching in three games, winning 2 and playing one game in the outfield. His career pitching record was split even at 61 wins and 61 losses while batting .224 with nine home runs and 60 runs batted in.
