Huntingdon has again been hailed upon to mourn the loss of one of her well known and most highly resped citizens.
On Saturday evening at the hour of eight the beautiful life of Mrs. George H. Moore passed peacefully into the arms of eternal sleep from a complication of diseases with which she was a patent sufferer.
Annabelle (Moore) Wolfe was born at Huntingdon August 27, 1874. All of her life being spent in this vicinity. On December 24, 1891, she was united in marriage to George H. Wolfe, of Huntingdon, who with the following chldren survive to grieve their loss: Mrs. F. A. King and Lester S., of Altoona, Mrs. Edward Weaver of Smithfield and John P. of Huntingdon; G. Edgar, Ella M. and Chester M. at home. Also one brother John C. Moore of Huntingdon and the following grandchildren Minerva and Marietta Wolfe and Geraldine Weaver.
Mrs. Wolfe was a fond mother and a loving wife-with a life that symbolized a noble character of christian kindness-possessing these ideal traits of a glowing personality which won for her the admiration and high esteem of all those who knew her. At an early age she affilliated with the Methodist church in whose cause she was ever alert and an earnest worker. She was also a devoted member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Funeral services will be held at the late home 1612 Washington street, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. Services will be conducted by Rev. G. K. Walker, pastor of the Brethren Church and Rev. L. M. Brady pastor of the 15th St. Methodist church. Interment will be made in the Riverview Cemetery.
